It's 11pm on a Tuesday.
You need a read by Thursday.
Tell a private advisor what happened at work. It asks what it needs to know, then gives you the read, the options, and the cost of staying quiet. Nobody else ever sees it.
Found out about the re-org from the group chat. Everyone at my level was in a meeting last week. I wasn't.
What's probably going on. An oversight, a signal, or a decision already made. The first move is the same for all three: one low-key direct question.
If you do nothing. Silence reads as consent, and the next meeting happens without you too.
How it works
It asks before it advises. That is the whole method.
Say what happened
In your own words. English, Hindi, Hinglish. Vent first if you need to; it listens before it asks.
Answer two or three questions
Only the ones that change the answer. Who has power over you. First time or a pattern. What you actually want.
Get the read and your options
What is probably going on, including what you might be misreading. Two or three moves ranked for your goal, with the words to say.
Keep talking
Pick a direction, rehearse the conversation, come back when things move. Every thread stays yours.
A sample answer
Every first answer has the same four parts.
Not a pep talk and not a lecture. A read you can test, options with their trade-offs, the honest cost of doing nothing, and the signal that tells you which read was right.
The example is a real shape of answer, with the names removed. Your own will be in whatever language you write in.
Pehli baar hua hai. Manager ko nahi pata tha. Mujhe credit se zyada yeh chahiye ki aage se aisa na ho.
What's probably going onTum dono ek hi slot ke race mein ho, aur usne tumhari baat uthayi kyunki woh kaam kar gayi. Pehli baar hai, isliye intent abhi clear nahi. Ek halke, private word pe uska reaction hi bataega.
Your options1. Aaj ya kal, private aur halka: “Woh idea maine kal tujhe bataya tha na? Agli baar saath lekar chalte hain.” 2. Manager ko idea ka fuller version bhejo, peer ko copy karke. 3. Ab se pre-wire: jo meeting mein jaana hai, pehle likhke bhejo.
If you do nothingPehli baar ignore karoge toh usko seekhne ko milega ki yeh chal jata hai.
What to watch forAgar woh seedha bole “haan yaar, agli baar saath”, toh ek-baar ki baat thi. Defensive ho jaye, toh option 3 seriously lo.
Navigate, don't win.
Built for Indian workplaces
Hierarchy, face-saving, the indirect no, the boss as gatekeeper, family businesses, IT services account structures. Western advice gets these wrong. This doesn't.
It will tell you when you may be misreading it
Your account is one side of the story. A friend agrees with you. A good advisor says “here is another reading, and here is how to tell which is right.”
Clean moves only
No deception, sabotage or retaliation. For harassment, discrimination or legal matters it names what is happening, points you to the formal channels, and still helps you think it through.
Private by design
You are telling it things you cannot tell anyone at work.
So the product is built around that, not around growth.
- 01We never ask for your employer's name. There is no field for it.
- 02Nobody on our side reads your conversations. Analytics never see message content.
- 03Delete everything with one tap. It is a real delete, not a hide.
- 04The AI provider does not train on your conversations. Stated plainly, in the app.
Bring the situation you have been turning over all week.
